The TPYF exhibition marked the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Designed by the IWM and funded by the Big Lottery Fund, it explored the impact of war on the communities and people of Britain and the relevance of that impact today. The exhibition in St Mary's Shrewsbury was supported by a wide range of exhibitions, displays and activities. Children attended workshops on wartime salvage, rationing and diet, and heard speakers talk of their experiences as evacuees during WW2 and veterans share their experiences.
